India is bordered by seas - the Arabian Sea on its western coast, the Bay of Bengal on its east the vast Indian Ocean on its southernmost tip. Within this vast expanse of land are climactic changes as well. Like all nations, India has adapted to available foodstuffs, but this is a large nation with many possibilities.
India is ancient country and reflects the imprint of the many cultures that have traveled across its terrain.
We hope to unravel some of the mysteries of Indian food and discover the methods of Indian cooking one recipe at a time. Some recipes will be traditional and familiar to us from restaurants while others will open our experience and our taste buds and encourage us to experiment.
