Grilled Marinated Flank Steak

"Marinated and grilled flank steak was a new entree that my mother introduced when my husband and I began dating.  It has become a favorite that my family continues to enjoy." Linda Witty Follis

  • flank steak
  • 2 teaspoons  meat tenderizer
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cooking sherry
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon accent

 

 

METHOD

Mix together the meat tenderizer, sugar, sherry, soy sauce, hone, salt and accent. Whisk until well blenged.

Marinate steak for 1-5 hours, turning occasionally. 

Grill 3-5 minutes per side.  Cut meat diagonally.
