Curried Peanuts

Seasoned nuts are the perfect party side dish as they can be made ahead and will satisfy nibblers.

  • 1 cup roasted, salted, blanched peanuts
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder, mild or hot to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Method

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Combine spices and mix with peanuts.  Spread on cookie sheet and roast in preheated oven for 5 minutes.

Set aside to cool.  Do not use waxed paper as the heat of the nuts could melt the wax. Brown paper or parchment paper is fine, or let cool in pan.

Store in an  air-tight container.

Serves: 6   - easily doubled for a large party
