Baked Yams with Orange & Figs
A wonderful Thanksgiving or Christmas dish - and just as great between the holidays
- 2 large yams (1 lb. each), boiled, peeled & sliced 1/4" thick
- 2 oranges, peeled & sliced
- 3/4 cup dried figs sliced crosswise into fourths
- 1/4 cup walnut pieces
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
