METHOD
In pan combine cornstarch
and sugar; blend in peach puree, water and lemon juice. Bring to boil,
stirring; boil until thickened and clear. Remove from heat; cool. Beat
together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread evenly in
the pie shell. Spoon the sliced peaches over the cream cheese; pour cooled
puree mixture over peaches. Chill until serving time.
