METHOD
Grate the white flesh
of a brown coconut using a cheese grater (the fine side will produce better
results). Add one cup of warm water to the grated coconut, put in a bowl
and squeeze with your hands or put in a food processor and blitz.
Put results in a fine
muslin cloth, twist into a ball and squeeze as hard as you can. The first
results are the thickest, called coconut cream. The second and third cup
of water you add and squeeze results in coconut milk which is thinner.
