Pomegranate Juice Marinade

  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 samll onion, chopped
  • 2 large cloves garlic or 3 small
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt and freshly milled black pepper to taste
 

Method

Combine all ingredients.  Set aside for a minumum of three hours before using.

This is excellent for kebabs as the meat will absorb the flavors well. When marinating, allow several hours or overnight for maximum flavor.

Yield: About 1/4 cups
